“I reached out to Aaron in March 2020 to work on my running form. I have constant knee pain and when I would run, the pain would get worse. I was preparing for my 1/2 marathon at the end of March and also a 10mile run for April. On our consultation day, within our hour he was able to identify my problem - I was running on my toes and not placing my entire foot down on the ground as I ran - hence the pain on my knee. After that consultation, I started paying attention to how I ran and saw the difference within a couple of days. My races were canceled due to COVID-19, so then we switched our training to strength training for the next 3 months. Since then, I have stuck with Aaron in training and it has been a blessing! I was able to get back on track with my health and have been consistent training with Aaron. I have seen results!! Since March, I have dropped a total of 12lbs and kept them off! I have gotten stronger, gotten leaner, incorporated running within our weekly sessions and overall feeling amazing health wise. He is dedicated to waking up at 5am for our a.m. sessions; when I have questions, he listens/gives me feedback, and sometimes I give too much TMI, yet he still is there to listen LOL. He is professional at all times and has a lot of knowledge when it comes to fitness. I am happy and grateful for becoming a part of the Fitness Theory family!”

“I’ve done just about every form of training that Aaron has offered. From his “Stick to the Plan” program, personal training, his classes at SWEAT DC, and even his “All Gas No Brakes” workout online. From day one of training with Aaron, he had a really nice presence about him that made working out challenging yet fun. Trying new things is never a problem because with him it’s like you can do anything and feel confident in doing it. No workout is the same and the training/workouts are personalized to you and your fitness goals. I’ve never met a trainer who can come up with so many variations of a burpee, but he can. The training I did with Aaron helped me to lose a total of 40 pounds. Since meeting my goal weight, we now have transitioned to weight training which I absolutely love. “I’ve known Aaron since Junior High School and have followed his amazing fitness transformation through the years. In January 2019, he posted a new trial program that he was offering. At that moment, I knew that was the opportunity to take back my life. After developing a syndrome called HELLP during my 28th week of pregnancy, almost losing my life, along with being in a toxic relationship; it took a toll on me that I didn’t realize until after those experiences. I informed Aaron of my interest and was selected for his new program, he was launching called “STICK TO THE PLAN”! My goal was to lose 20 pounds, inches from my waistline and tone. With Aaron’s meal plan, and those brutal 5 am workouts I was able to accomplish that goal. Not only was I able to accomplish my weight loss goal, but he prepared me to do something I never imagined doing, I ran my first 10-mile race. Due to knee issues, Aaron ensured that our routines always included strength and mobility exercises. This allowed me to successfully complete the race, after the race, he assisted me with active recovery that helped with the effects of running on concrete for 10miles! Because of Fitness Theory, I was able to take back my life and accomplish goals that seemed hard to obtain at one point in life. Training is more than a check or just another exercise plan for Aaron. He is passionate about his programs and clients. He’s not just an average trainer making you do the same exercises. I never thought I could be a strong runner, an avid cyclist, or pushing a sled half my weight. However, after signing up with Aaron and joining the Fitness Theory family, my fear and thoughts of I can’t become changed to I can. His method of tailoring the workout to meet your goals not only physically gets you stronger, but changes your mindset and outlook on life. He never tries to conform you to a standard workout plan, but listens and tailors his training plan to meet your needs.
